A really helpful meeting today with Paula and Duncan who run the NHS Eating Disorder Service covering Warrington and Halton to discus referrals and services available locally.
I know that the health service is under pressure and it was good to hear first-hand how the local NHS leadership are working to improve the system and some of the programmes in place to help young people with conditions like anorexia and bulimia.
I will be picking up some of their suggestions with Government Ministers in the coming weeks.
