Last week I was officially readopted as the Conservative candidate for Warrington South in the 2024 General Election. I've since been busy knocking on doors in Appleton, Thelwall, Grappenhall, Walton, Latchford, Great Sankey, Penketh and Stockton Heath over the past week, speaking to local people about the issues that matter most to them in Warrington South.
Throughout the last four-and-a-half years while serving as your Member of Parliament, we've achieved so much in all areas in Warrington including raising education standards, improving local transport, additional healthcare facilities, tackling crime, protecting the environment and supporting local businesses. I'm running on a record that I'm incredibly proud of, but I know there's still more work to be done. My six point plan for Warrington South lays out my priorities for the next five years if I am fortunate enough to be returned as your MP.
1) Protecting jobs, supporting local businesses and investing in the right skills for future generations.
2) Regenerating our town centre and brownfield sites with affordable homes and the necessary infrastructure.
3) Securing improvements to Warrington Hospital and more GP appointments.
4) Every school in Warrington South rated Good or Outstanding, giving our children the best start in life.
5) Improving public transport with 105 new electric buses for Warrington plus £120m secured to repair our roads.
6) Keeping our families safe with record police numbers in Cheshire and more visible community policing.
