Lovely to call in to LifeTime Warrington on Sankey Street earlier where the volunteers were holding a Macmillan coffee morning - helping to raise money for cancer research.
Had a delicious slice of homemade sponge cake - topped with strawberries and cream, even got to meet Margaret who’d baked it using Mary Berry’s recipe… she got my star baker award.
LifeTime are celebrating their 10th Birthday this month so it’s a double celebration and it was great to hear about the work the volunteers do to support adults across the community..
