It’s nuclear week in Parliament - a really important sector for Warrington with thousands of jobs linked to civil decommissioning, energy infrastructure and the defence sector with many global businesses located in the town.
Really great to meet Isabell Marrin from Warrington in Parliament today. Isabell recently started a Business Winning Degree Apprenticeship at Cavendish Nuclear so she’s earning while she’s learning.
Good to talk to Isabell about the opportunities for l young people to find careers in the nuclear sector and the work she’s doing to promote those roles to women through the UK Women in Nuclear group.
