83 years ago, the Battle of Britain reached its peak as the Luftwaffe launched two waves of attacks against London. The RAF successfully repelled this assault, with the battle eventually ending on 31st October 1940.
It was a great privilege to join members of the Warrington Air Cadets1330 Squadron at St Elphins Parish Church to commemorate the Anniversary, more than eight decades on, we remember those that fought bravely for our freedom.
Particular thanks must go to Warrington Brass Band and Warrington male voice choir for making the event all the more special with their outstanding performances.
