I’ve received lots of emails recently about delays to Royal Mail deliveries in Lymm, with some residents waiting up to 10 days to receive letters including hospital appointments and documents to sign.
Last week I met with managers at Royal Mail who look after the WA13 delivery routes to discuss the issues and to get assurances that previous problems are being addressed.
Royal Mail have been recruiting new Posties to address problems locally, 12 new recruits are starting in August which will help to address delays in deliveries in Lymm. I’ll be following up with residents to keep a watch on service improvements.
