Monday morning starts with a visit to Bridgewater High School in Appleton to have a tour of the completed extension with Principal Mr Powell ahead of the official opening later today. The new facilities include science labs, classrooms for modern languages, drama studio and a food technology centre.
Really enjoyed meeting and talking with some of the year 10 students who told me about life at the school and the opportunities young people have to get involved with extra curricular activities such as Duke of Edinburgh Awards, drama and sport.
Good to also hear how the students have played a part in re-designing an updated school crest with the help of a Stockton Heath design business.
