Great to see so many people supporting Penketh Carnival today with schools, clubs and youth groups in the parade and four marching bands!
Despite the rain shower there was lots to see and so on Greystone Rec including circus skills and a Viking re-enactment.
Great to meet some of the Sankey Canal Restoration Society team who’ve been working hard to find solutions to keeping water in the canal. Pleased to catch up with Penketh Royal British Legion, raising awareness of support for veterans locally and Impressive selection of home made cakes at Penketh WI stand too!
