“Across the county we have outstanding producers making great cheeses, beer, and jams, some of which were given away during a competition live-on-air. Congratulations to Anna Leaver who won a gift set from producers based across Cheshire.
“This Cheshire Day make sure to champion our great county!”
Paul Smith, Lymm Radio’s station director said: “Today we broadcast Lymm Radio for the very first time live from Westminster to celebrate Cheshire Day.
"To meet and chat with the speaker of the house and to be joined by a number of MP's and the BBC's Chris Mason has allowed us to bring the work of Parliament and the Palace of Westminster into people’s homes.
"The feedback we have had from listeners has been fantastic and we look forward to doing the same next year to celebrate our great county.”
