Warrington will be represented on the grid at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone later today - thanks to 10 year old Luca Narraway
The Broomfields Primary pupil has been selected by Motorsports UK to be one of 10 Grid Kids meaning he gets to go into the paddock and the press room and will be standing on grid for the national anthem.
I got to congratulate him before he headed down to Northamptonshire, he told me how last year he became the North West Champion MSUK in the cadet class. He is in his sixth full season of karting and competes in the British Championships intermediate class which is for 10 to 13-year-old drivers
Well done Luca and good luck with the 2023 season - great to see local businesses supporting Luca in his attempts to be on the podium in his own rights too.
