Good to meet with the team at Warrington’s Own Buses to talk about the Government support helping to improve public transport in Warrington
With £1 child and £2 adult capped fares, free concessionary pass travel at any time of the day, enhanced timetables and the introduction of 105 brand new zero emission buses over the next 12 months, the Government is helping to transform services here in Warrington with £16m of additional funding.
From today there are also new services in Warrington South, responding to requests from Constituents:
🚍31, 31A and 33 (Honiton Way Shops Circulars and Penketh to Westbrook/Gemini Retail Park)
🚍 47 (Warrington Bus Interchange to Statham via Stockton Heath)
I really enjoyed meeting many of the team at the new bus depot on Dallam Lane to talk about the improvements to passenger services, the work to keep buses on the road, new timetables and to hear about the increase in users each week.
