Really enjoyed meeting David, Zoe and the team at Flex in Appleton Thorn - a hugely impressive business providing service to some of the best known brands around the world.
Flex is itself a global business, with around 200 staff based in Warrington the business is headquartered in the US with operations in 30 countries including Canada, India, Switzerland, Mexico and China - it has both a manufacturing and supply chain division. In Warrington the business focus on laptop repairs for brands like HP and Lenovo alongside supplying IT spare parts to businesses across Europe.
Impressive to see Flex has been named one of the World's Most Admired Companies 2023 by Fortune magazine in the Electronics category. I’m particularly grateful to the team in Warrington who’ve supported my Jobs and Apprenticeships fairs over the last three years. It’s a business that is recruiting locally, it looking for applicants who can speak different languages to work in its Global Services business.
