Andy Carter MP highlighted the new infrastructure funding to electric vehicles, stating:
It's brilliant to see that Warrington will be receiving a further £1.2m from the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) Capital Fund to scale up the delivery of charge points.
This brings many benefits to our community by making it easier for residents with no off-street parking to charge their vehicles and for those considering making the switch to electric.
I’m also keen to see charge points in public car parks across the area with a particular focus in the areas where take up is most significant.
