Today Andy Carter MP for Warrington South was delighted to welcome CEO of Warrington based Nursery provider Kids Planet Day Nurseries, Claire Roberts to Downing Street to meet with the Minister for Children, Families and Wellbeing, David Johnston OBE MP.
It was great to be able to say thank you to Claire, who’s company provides early years care for thousands of children across the Region, for helping to give every child the best start in life and support parents to work. Claire’s business has grown through being responsive to the needs of young people and their parents and by being at the forefront of providing apprenticeship training for her team.
This Government is making the single biggest investment that's ever been made in childcare and during my visits to Kids Planet Stretton and Kids Planet Lymm Andy was was "incredibly impressed to see the investment being made into workforce development that is helping us provide to more than 200,000 families with the first 15 hours of funded childcare for their 2-year-olds."
