I try and visit a different school each week to talk about democracy, how we make laws and opportunities for young people to get involved with politics.
But, better than me visiting, is schools coming to Parliament - there’s a dedicated education centre and young people get a chance to visit the chamber of the House of Commons and the House of Lords as well as spotting some famous political faces.
So it was great to meet Year 12 students from Lymm High who elected their own Speaker and then took part in their own debate on capital punishment before my MP Q&A - with questions ranging from how AI is going to change the world to why I became involved in politics.
