Every child deserves the best start in life, and as a parent I know the value of a good education. It's the single area which matters to me more than any other, that's why as MP I've visited every school in Warrington South to meet with the headteacher, teachers and pupils there.
The Conservative Government's education reforms have had a fantastic impact on raising our local school standards, with every school in Warrington South now rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding' by Ofsted - that's up from 68% in 2010.
In my time as MP I've worked closely with local schools to secure better facilities and improvements such as the £6million for Penketh High School from the Schools Rebuild Programme. I've also worked to help constituents with securing school places for their children, and making sure those who need special education and needs provision get it.
